Capability Development Lead

The People team is transforming as we embark on a journey to design and deliver on the portfolio of programs and initiatives for Bupa Villages & Aged Care (BVAC) as set out in our A&NZ Leadership and Capability Plan.

You will be/have:-

  • Lead the delivery of the BVAC NZ leadership strategy, including understanding and alignment to the market-unit wide leadership strategy
  • Develop and deliver a BVAC NZ Learning Plan based on learning needs analysis conducted through strong partnerships with our Care Homes, People Partners, Clinical Education Team, and Operations.
  • Lead the delivery of the Employee Induction Program, including the review of program design and impacts.
  • Experience with different learning content, modes of delivery, measurement, etc. to see what works best for which audience
  • Ensures leadership and learning programs have clear outcomes and impacts, and these are communicated to stakeholders and learners
  • Applies strong program and project management expertise to ensure programs are appropriately resourced, delivered on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard
  • Engage with business to understand opportunities and make recommendations to improve / streamline the Reward and Recognition offering within Care Homes and Corporate, Scholarships etc.
  • Tertiary education in relevant discipline (human resources, organisational psychology, psychology, education or equivalent)
  • Experience in the entire L&D lifecycle – from needs assessment, to design, to delivery to measurement (5 years desirable)
  • Experience in program and project management
  • Capability to build excellent stakeholder relationships and link that to service provision and learning outcomes
  • Vendor management experience
